We advertised the Levine Reservoir Storage Tanks construction project in March with bids submitted in May ranging between $40-50M. There were two bid protests that we considered before formally awarding to the second low bidder in July. Upon award there was a stay granted due to formal bid protests filed with the Court. There was an initial determination by the Court in September upholding PVWC’s award. There was an appeal filed by one of the bidders and the Appellate Court heard arguments in December. We received the unanimous final determination on January 10, 2025 upholding the initial Court determination and allowing the awarded contract to proceed. So we are finally moving forward with the Levine Storage Tanks which have been years in the making. A big day for PVWC and the communities we serve! I am looking forward to working with JF Creamer, Mott MacDonald (CM) and my engineering staff led by Julie Alesandrelli, P.E. and Mansi Master, P.E. to successfully construct this $41.8M project and bring PVWC closer to compliance with the LT2 Rule!
