Tiauna Jackson, Trailblazing Talent Agent, to Attend Prestigious Oregon Summer Sports Law Institute Tiauna Jackson, the groundbreaking founder of The Jackson Agency (TJA), a Hollywood-based talent agency known for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, has been selected to attend the prestigious University of Oregon School of Law's Summer Sports Institute in 2024. This highly regarded program brings together top legal minds, industry professionals, and aspiring sports law experts to explore the complex legal aspects of the sports industry. Jackson, who made history as the first Black woman to serve on the Board of the Association of Talent Agents (ATA) and the first Black woman to own a Writers Guild of America franchise in Los Angeles and Atlanta, has been a driving force in the entertainment industry since establishing TJA in 2014. Her tireless efforts to promote equity and create opportunities for underrepresented talent have earned her features in major publications such as the New York Times, Variety, and Essence magazine. Recognizing the growing need for experienced and diverse representation in the sports arena, Jackson has set her sights on expanding her expertise in sports law.
