  • One of the most important parts of any environmental strategy is getting to carbon neutrality.    Here are four concepts that can help you achieve carbon neutrality:   ✅ Introduce electric vehicles to your company fleet ✅ Create incentive programs to help employees buy electric/hybrid cars ✅ Incentivize employees to carpool ✅ Switch to drop ship supplies directly to client locations, cutting out the warehouse middleman At Janitronics, we are your partner in achieving your environmental goals and we’ve implemented all four of these tactics in our company. Thank you Janitronics Building Services and Michele Worth, we appreciate your support of Bread of Life! Our families enjoyed this generous donation!

Janitronics’ 3rd Annual “Apple-Pa-Looza” was a success! On a beautiful fall day, Janitronics team members, family, and friends dedicated their time to volunteering at Honey Pot Hill Orchards in Stow, Massachusetts. More than 115 participants picked bags of delicious apples that were donated to two non-profits—Bread of Life and @CASPAR. Bread of Life provides over 1.5 million pounds of free food a year for economically struggling and disadvantaged families, individuals, youth and senior citizens in the North metro Boston area. CASPAR is a community-based non-profit organization founded in 1970 in response to growing community need for substance abuse treatment. A big thank you to @Michele Worth, Vice President of Administrative Services, for leading and organizing another philanthropic event. Thank you to the Janitronics staff members for their hard work in picking the finest apples and logging over 350 volunteer hours for this annual event. We also extend our gratitude to Honey Pot Hill Orchards for welcoming us to their farm for the third time. #TeamJanitronics #Volunteering

  • If you work in the life science industry, you know that Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is critical in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom environments. At Janitronics, we regularly perform GDP training, thanks to Connie Correia. Connie leads our compliance program and is the Director of Quality and Compliance - Life Science Division. Last week Connie trained the Janitronics team on the importance of ALCOA principles and associated guidelines to ensure that data integrity and compliance is always maintained throughout the documentation process. ✅ Attributable ✅ Legible ✅ Contemporaneous ✅ Original ✅ Accurate Learn about our life sciences cleaning staff and the training they regularly partake in:  https://lnkd.in/euCftk5A

  • Last week, members of the Janitronics team met for our quarterly team building event. This time around the session was with Kristen Hadeed, Optimism Instructor from Simon Sinek's The Optimism Company. Kristen taught us all about the importance of feedback in the workplace. We can’t wait to take these lessons and implement them in our professional environment. At Janitronics, our policy is to develop employees through continued training so we can promote from within.
