J. Edward Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse with a specialty in Med/Surg, to support a large Health System located within the Greater Springfield MA area. Please submit resume directly to the JE website portal. Role Description This is an on-site 3-month contract + option to extend. The Travel Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting doctors and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. The Travel Nurse will also be responsible for preparing medical equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating patients and their families about various healthcare procedures and treatments. Qualifications Active RN license Experience in a similar role Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Ability to adapt to new environments and situations Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
