Today we teamed up with Jefferson County Colorado Clerk and Recorder for our first Voting and Vaccines event! Working to keep our communities healthy and civically engaged, community members were able to both get their flu and COVID-19 vaccines while also getting registered to vote, updating registration or just get answers to all voting and election questions. #VotingIsHealth #CivicHealth #CivicEngagement #HealthForAll #CommunityHealth bit.ly/VotingIsHealth

Today wrapped up our weeklong FEMA Integrated Emergency Management Course (IEMC), hosted by the @Jefferson County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management. This immersive, exercise-based training gave our Emergency Operations Center personnel the opportunity to tackle simulated, yet highly realistic, crisis scenarios within a structured environment. It’s all part of our ongoing efforts to ensure #Jeffco remains resilient and fully prepared for future emergencies. Grateful for the collaboration and dedication of everyone involved in strengthening our community's readiness. #EmergencyManagement #CrisisPreparedness #CommunityResilience #PublicSafety Jefferson County, Colorado

In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, check out this powerful op-ed by our very own Maxwell Johnson and Amy Miller from Jefferson Center for Mental Health, which underscores the vital role that connection and open dialogue play in saving lives. They remind us that suicide is a public health crisis, but also one that can be prevented through support, community and awareness. Together, we can build a world where no one feels alone in their struggle. #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthMatters #ConnectionSavesLives
