Congrats to the Cognitive Keyboard team from HackHarvard who tied for the #PatientSafetyChallenge prize! Thanks for selecting our challenge to hack over the weekend.
I spent an amazing weekend at Harvard University developing Cognitive Keyboard, an Android app designed to detect cognitive decline in real time through typing pattern analysis. With my teammates Maggie Nardini, Andrew Liu and Shaurya Pratap Singh, we built a privacy-preserving data collection app, a CRUD API, a KNN model, a data visualization platform for researchers, and a doctor's portal—all within 36 hours. We were thrilled to win HackHarvard's patient safety track! 🏆 Big thanks to the HackHarvard organizers and judges for putting together such a remarkable event. This was my first hackathon, and it was incredible to connect with brilliant sleep-deprived hackers from around the world. Check out our Devpost for a demo, details on how we built the privacy-preserving system, how we trained the machine learning models, and references to the academic papers that inspired us: https://lnkd.in/dp5jCNr9 #PatientSafetyChallenge #HackHarvard #MentalHealthTech #MachineLearning #CognitiveHealth #Hackathon #AI #HealthTech #CarnegieMellonUniversity
