Day 1 of the Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop was filled with outstanding discussions. The workshop is providing an opportunity to focus on strengthening partnerships necessary to protect critical infrastructure. It allows the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, and Indo-Pacific partners to share ideas, collaborate and jointly train to varied scenarios. This will lead to more secure processes and technologies that underpin Indo-Pacific critical infrastructure. Looking forward to more insightful discussions throughout the week.

JFHQ-DODIN is excited to join U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment in co-hosting the Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop Part II and Policy Tabletop Discussion this week. Through cooperative workshops such as this, we are able to share ideas and collaborate on varied approaches that lead to more secure processes and technologies that underpin Indo-Pacific critical infrastructure.

JFHQ-DODIN welcomes U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Paul T. Stanton as the new JFHQ-DODIN commander and DISA director and offer our heartfelt gratitude to U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert J. Skinner on his retirement. U.S. Air Force Gen. Timothy D. Haugh, commander, U.S. Cyber Command and director, National Security Agency/chief, Central Security Service, emphasized the strategic importance of the leadership change, underscoring the critical roles DISA and JFHQ-DODIN have in defending the nation’s networks and ensuring freedom of action in cyberspace.

US Transportation Command, U.S. Cyber Command, and JFHQ-DODIN were honored to host the Global Logistics Cyber Resiliency Summit recently. Senior leaders from over 35 commands converged on Fort Meade to discuss the top cyber challenges to the global logistics mission. Maintaining cyber battlespace awareness of critical global logistics systems and platforms is fundamental to the security of our nation. Heather Blackwell, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's Mr. Oliver Pandian, MBA, and Mr. Nick Hall from the Cyber National Mission Force to discuss the partnerships necessary to secure, operate, and defend the cyber terrain vital to assuring global sustainment of forces.
