On September 11th, over 3,000 runners, families, and supporters came together at Ann Morrison Park to honor those we lost and the heroes who bravely responded on that tragic day. The energy and dedication from our community made this event unforgettable. Whether you were running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, we all shared one goal: to remember the day and honor those we lost. Thank you for being part of this incredible day of remembrance. Let’s continue to honor the legacy of 9/11 by remaining resilient and unified. 🎥 Watch the highlights from the 2024 Mission43 9/11 Miles of Remembrance 5K Run! 🇺🇸 #911MilesOfRemembrance #NeverForget #Mission43 #HonorTheFallen #UnitedWeStand

It was my honor to join a few of my Idaho Power colleagues to tour the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse — the incredible new home of Mission43 and the Challenged Athletes Foundation-Idaho. The Fieldhouse was designed to be a space of healing, belonging, and adventure, where members can find community and receive the services, programs, and equipment they need to lead full, engaged, active lives. I was so impressed by the thoughtful, welcoming design of the building and the compassion of all who work there. I'm grateful to everyone who made this new facility possible, including my friends at the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. Learn more about the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse and how you can join or support their mission at idahofieldhouse.org.

Last night’s Mission43 Entrepreneur Forward with Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance at the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse was packed with military connected entrepreneurs expanding their toolkit with knowledge on legal matters in setting up and running a thriving business or nonprofit! I’m incredibly grateful to be able to work alongside Isaac Belden to bring these unique learning opportunities to our network. Extra big THANK YOU to Kaci Peterson with Perkins Coie LLP who WOWed with her in-depth advice on entity formation, intellectual property, and so much more. We couldn’t make this happen without community support from engaging, authentic, altruistic, subject matter experts - Kaci and the team at Perkins Coie in Idaho are at the top of the list of truly caring about giving back to the military community. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Special shout outs to Vicki White & Alex Balderas. Vicki is the veteran and baker extraordinaire behind Whoopie-ki-yay, some of the best darn whoopie pies you’ll find in all of Idaho! Alex Balderas is a military veteran bringing his outdoors & culinary passions together with Table Viii Overland Catering. We may have brought him on an inside adventure (though we can all agreee the space is amazing), Alex specializes in backcountry catering and serves a delicious spread! We know no one walked away hungry 😉 Together, we’re expanding the military connected entrepreneurial footprint and fostering environments for more educated, prepared, and successful business owners in Idaho, after the military. #veterans #veteranownedbusiness #thisisboise #idahome #veteranshelpingveterans #militaryspouse #milspouseowned #militaryentrepreneurs #leadlearninspire

In 1985, a football player named Jim MacLaren was hit by a New York City bus and lost his leg below the knee. He went on to finish The IRONMAN Group world championship in 10:42 minutes (top 20% of ALL competitors)! A group of Jim’s friends later sparked a movement - and CAF - after a second accident left Jim a quadriplegic.
