Exciting opportunity to work with our internal agency!

Our #EmployeeSpotlight is on Lisa Haino, Marketing Account Director, Behavioral Health, in the Marketing and Communications department. Lisa has been with UHS for a little more than two and a half years. When we asked Lisa what made her choose UHS, she shared, “Working at UHS offers me the opportunity to serve a community of people in need in the best way I know how. Without the clinical knowledge to treat those with behavioral health struggles or substance use disorders, I love knowing that the work we do every day to help promote our facilities can reach families suffering through crises. You don’t have to have a medical background to be able to contribute, and I’m so happy to show up every day knowing that our efforts can potentially make a difference to someone in need.” A fun fact about Lisa is that she loves traveling the world! She has been to many places inside and outside the US, but her favorite spot so far has been the Amalfi Coast in Italy. She is excited to head to her next adventure in Paris and Barcelona soon! Lisa has a small but mighty team that she is thankful for and proud of every day, and they are currently hiring for a Senior Marketing Specialist. When looking for a candidate, Lisa first looks for a marketing background required to perform in an account specialist role. In addition, Lisa says it’s so important that anyone joining her department truly wants to work as part of a team, is very communicative and collaborative, and given the demands of the position, has excellent time management and organizational skills. The employee experience at UHS includes the highly popular and interactive Executive Speaker Series during which Corporate Office employees have the opportunity to network with and gain insights from various accomplished UHS Leaders. Last week, our featured speaker was Roselle Charlier, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for UHS. Roselle shared her personal background, career journey, the evolution of Marketing, advice for the next generation among us, and perspective on successful leadership. “I believe three core elements of effective leaders are: (1) domain expertise including knowledge and skills; (2) the proven ability to drive results; and (3) strong interpersonal skills that enable the leader to inspire, influence, and bring out the best in team members. Wow, what a busy first two weeks for our summer interns! Not only did they jump right into team projects, they attended orientation, networking events, lunch & learns, professional development workshops, and service excellence training...phew! We were excited to bring back the OG IS Intern Meet & Greet for an informal Q&A session. This was a great opportunity for current IS interns to connect with previous IS interns who converted to full-time positions. Meet Dan Noll, UHS Program Director - Corporate Recruitment, who has worked in recruitment for 20 years! Dan recruits for various departments, including Human Resources, Design and Construction, Legal, Marketing, PR, and more. “When recruiting for UHS I look for individuals who are service driven. As much as technical skills are paramount, I believe it is as important that the candidates we hire understand that we make a difference in the lives of the patients that UHS serves,” Dan shared. After being referred to UHS by a longtime friend, he knew right away after meeting the recruitment team that this was a group he could collaborate with and help support his professional growth. Dan’s favorite part of his role is getting to partner with talented individuals who he can learn from and helping people find their dream job along the way.
