Our partner Atlantic Aviation, who operates aviation infrastructure across the United States, have announced they intend to install the Global Electric Aviation Charging System (GEACS) at the East 34th Street Heliport in Manhattan, marking the first site in NYC to be electrified for quiet, emissions-free air taxi service. In November last year, we flew several exhibition flights from the Downtown Manhattan Helipad over the East River, showcasing the future of aviation to key stakeholders including the NYC Mayor, NY/NJ Port Authority, and NYC Economic Development Corporation. The GEACS charging system is designed to enable the safe and efficient operations of all electric aircraft under development today. It allows for the rapid charging of multiple battery packs, with included coolant for thermal management as well as secure data offload. https://lnkd.in/g9UqCm-w
