Smart Apply® is like a pair of special 3D glasses for farmers that helps protect their trees and vines from bugs and diseases. It creates a 3D image of the crop and then tells the sprayer exactly where and how much treatment is needed in order for the plant to thrive. If it detects an area without plants, no problem! It simply instructs the sprayer to stop spraying, preventing product waste. And if it’s an older machine, that’s not an issue either. Exciting news: This 2024 growing season, our See & Spray™ technology has helped customers save more than 8 million gallons of herbicide mix. So, how does it work? See & Spray is like facial recognition for weeds. It uses cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning to quickly differentiate between weeds and crops. When the camera spots a troublesome plant, it sends a signal to the nozzle to spray the pesky weed and avoids any treatment to the crop itself.
