Welcome to J&H PT – Huntsville, Kevin Olds! J&H PT is thrilled to announce our latest clinical hire. Kevin Olds, MSPT, CSCS, CMP, Schroth Certified, MCT, NDN, brings over 20 years of expertise in physical therapy and sports conditioning. His extensive experience includes working with athletes at all levels, from high school to professional sports. Notably, he served as the Physical Therapist for the University of Memphis Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams and developed a widely adopted "Return to Throwing Program" for treating overhead athletes, particularly baseball players. Throughout his career, Kevin has held leadership positions, including Director of Clinical Education and Director of the Mentorship Program at Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN, where he played a pivotal role in training new residents and therapists.  Please help us spread the word to athletes and coaches in North Alabama. Kevin now treats patients in our Huntsville clinic at 4240 Balmoral Drive, Suite 100. Be on the lookout for Kevin-led community workshops and sport-specific coaches' clinics in the near future. #jandhpt

Welcome to J&H PT- Huntsville, Claire Laaker, DPT! Claire is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She graduate from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Exercise Science. She then graduated from Samford University where she received her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Claire has a passion for orthopedics and has a special interest in working with the geriatric population. Jalin Langjahr was one of several PT students this summer at J&H. Jalin is from Huntsville, Alabama, and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is currently attending PT school at South College in Knoxville. His hobbies include playing soccer and traveling the world. His primary interest is in orthopedics. 💪 J&H PT - Oneonta: Patient Success Story 💪 Marty Stewart, DPT and Jessica Ratliff, PTA were watching the Locust Fork High School girls basketball team in the playoffs last season and saw Faith suffer an apparent injury. In fact, she tore her ACL in the last game of her high school career. Although emotional, it has been a joy to see Faith persevere and complete her PT at J&H - Oneonta! ⭐⭐⭐ Meet the newest employee at J&H PT - Hampton Cove: Mara Scruggs, PTA ⭐⭐⭐ My name is Mara Scruggs and I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. I have been a board certified PTA since 2013 after graduating from Calhoun CC. I learned early into my career that outpatient care is where my heart is, and I have been happily working in outpatient settings for the last 9 years. I enjoy the ability to build trusting relationships with my patients by getting to know what drives them to get better and working alongside them to help achieve their goals. I am the proud parent of two boys, Cole and Jacob, who will be turning 7 this month. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and making new memories with them. You can almost always catch us at the park, an indoor jump zone, the movie theater, or enjoying all of the fun family events this area has to offer. I am excited to join such a well established team and continue to work to make physical therapy rewarding (and also fun) for any patient that I have the pleasure to work with at J&H.
