JUST PASSED: The New & Improved Autism CARES Act of 2024 🎉 Thanks to the US House votes, the new laws will expand on the previous bills to: ✨ create a more inclusive research ✨ establish a network for individuals with communication needs ✨ research autism and aging  ✨ determine ways to increase developmental-behavioral pediatricians (more access to evaluations & services) ✨ increase federal spending on autism programs Next Step 👉The Senate! We’ve shared these stats before, but they still shock us (and not in a good way). This is an incredible number of unemployed or underemployed individuals – and an untapped workforce of adults who have so much to contribute! And through our social enterprise, training programs, and career pathways we hope to do just that.
