INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP: This post was my reply to another post about inclusion. One of The most inclusive best practices of leadership is to ensure a way for employees to be a part of problem solving for some of the organization's challenges. It's not often that senior level and executive level leadership ask front line employees what would they do better. The question often asked is...."What's the problem? What issues are you having?" To truly include and EMPOWER, we should be asking...."What would you do differently? If you were in charge for one day, what would you change or develop?" It's that practice that allows for solution based behavior instead of expression of problems only. Your employees want to feel valued, but if you give them an out to vent and complain....they will. Lastly, don't practice this if you are in the business of lip service. There has to be some communication during and after such practice. The truth is, some of their solutions will not be implemented for many reasons and as leaders we should spend some time explaining the reasons why they won't.

This is my additional business. I am featured in Vancouver Family Magazine. Stop by and read the article regarding gun safety and the comprehensive approach I take with firearms training. It's not just about having a firearm, but what are you doing to be responsible with your possession and preparing for decision making if you have them for self-defense. Tune in! https://lnkd.in/gTngWqhG

Don't wait! Prioritize personal safety for your employees.
How often do you get personal safety training that is tailored to what your employees need? Employee feedback sometimes show it's just a cookie cutter approach. There are times when employees walk out feeling like the training missed the mark and wish it would have engaged them more instead of the same old lecture. I understand this problem and I make it a priority to ensure that employees are involved with their learning and problem solving journey surrounding their safety on the job and while in their personal environments. If you would like your employees to experience interactive engagement from a skilled trainer of personal safety, give me call at 719-440-3384 or email: JStrategicConsulting@gmail.com
