We created a video series exploring how JCO get put together each month, with a particular focus on following one article through the process, from submission to publication. If you are wondering what you "get" with your JCO subscription money, this video answers that question in full, including the fact that that each submitted article is reviewed by at least four people, three of whom are orthodontists; edited by four people, including Neal Kravitz in both cases; and then its proofread by three people, generally at least four times. As our Executive Editor David Vogels puts it in the video, "It's a pretty exhaustive process...getting an article from submission stage to final publication."
