🚨New special issue is coming! 🚨
The Journal of Genetic Counseling will be publishing a Special Issue on Research Methods in Genetic Counseling!
The Guest Editors are Melanie Myers, Hetanshi Naik, and Tasha Wainstein.
As the importance of research rigor is realized for evidence-based practice and training, additional resources that provide guidance about research methods, research implementation and presentation, and data analysis are needed for genetic counselors and genetic counseling trainees. Our hope is that the manuscripts included in the Research Methods in Genetic Counseling Special Issue will be resources for research and clinical professionals, trainees, and course instructors around the world.
A number of articles (listed below) have already been commissioned for this special issue. We are reaching out to ask for your help identifying any gaps in the list of articles below - please let us know if there are topics not included in this list that you think should be a focus for an article for this special issue. If you propose a topic, please let us know by September 1st if you would be interested in authoring it yourself, or if you have suggestions for others who we could approach. If you identify any gaps, would like to nominate yourself or a colleague to be a lead author, or if you would like to propose any peer reviewers for specific manuscripts, please reach out to Melanie Myers (melanie.myers@cchmc.org).
