Earlier this month, employees from our Elterlein, Germany facility participated in the Hallenturnier des TSV Geyer, a local company soccer tournament hosted by the TSV Geyer sports club. Our 12-player team, made up of employees from various departments, won the tournament against seven other teams, showcasing impressive talent and teamwork, despite having never played together before. Our team brought home beer from Freiberger Brauhaus and a special trophy: a traditional Schwibbogen. The Schwibbogen is a wooden Christmas decoration with lights, featuring a miner and an angel, typically displayed in windows throughout the Ore Mountain region from November through February. The Schwibbogen is a cherished local tradition and will be proudly displayed at our Elterlein facility.
