Our Joint Project Manager for CBRN Special Operations Forces team, with our partners at DTRA JSTO Engagement, is developing the Far-Forward Biological Sequencing (FFBS) system, also known as the Far-Forward Advanced Sequencing Technology (F-FAST), for advanced bio-sequencing in under 30 minutes. This system enables warfighters who aren’t lab-trained to quickly detect harmful biological threats in their environments. Meet the Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle Sensor Suite Upgrade (NBCRV SSU)! 👋 Our Joint Project Manager for CBRN Sensors team developed this specialized vehicle system to detect chemical, radiological, and biological threats in its immediate environment and automatically warn warfighters. The integrated sensor suite combines information from multiple detectors and transmits warning messages through the vehicle’s command and control equipment to alert follow-on forces. 🚨 Learn more about the NBCRV SSU and our other capabilities in our Capabilities Catalog: https://lnkd.in/gV2MNvgT #JPEOCBRND #CBRN #Sensors #Detection #ArmyTech

Our Joint Project Manager (JPM) for CBRN Protection develops, fields, and sustains CBRN protection and mitigation capabilities for the warfighter and the Nation. They develop next-generation physical protection capabilities, like masks and suits, that enhance protection against emerging threats and develop contamination mitigation technologies, like decontamination systems, to decrease the time and materials required to decontaminate personnel and equipment, quickly getting them back in the fight.
