It was established in the year 2010 by Lala Jagat Narain Romesh Chander Education Society. The Society is associated with a well reputed newspaper, the Daily Punjab Kesari. Well known freedom fighters, Late Lala Jagat Narain and Late Romesh Chander were the founder editors of Hind Samachar (Urdu Daily newspaper), Punjab Kesari (Hindi newspaper) and Jagbani (Punjabi newspaper).
