I grew up in Northwestern North Carolina. Like many of you, what I've seen in the western part of our beloved Old North State this week is not only devastating, but nearly unfathomable. Liquid Death is rolling out a new sweepstakes around its official NASCAR deal where it will award $30,000 sponsorships to three fans who enter by filming themselves quickly drinking a can of its iced tea on social media or at the upcoming playoff race at Talladega. 🔲 The prize includes wrapping the fans' road cars in a Liquid Death paint scheme, putting their face put onto Liquid Death hats and shirts, and giving them a free year's supply of iced tea and two VIP tickets to a NASCAR race.
A great example of 'leaning in' with minimal risk! If the budget doesn't allow you to take on major sponsorships to promote your CPG brand, take a different approach. UTZ is another brand who leans into sports action without a major sponsorship deal. TYLENOL did it this year featuring female gymnasts in their TV commercials during the Olympics. This week we launch the 105th season of the NFL, and this spot is the first expression of our brand campaign — This is Football Country. It’s not about a place. It’s more of a mindset. You’ll see some of the brightest young stars who are opening up football and making it more welcoming and inclusive and joyful for all. Young women and men playing flag, tackle and 1v1 — and they’re just making the game better. Football has always brought people together. And this year, unity has never been so important.
