This month, we’ve been incredibly blessed to learn more about four incredible women who have been touched by breast cancer in one way or another. Each story offered new insights from different perspectives, and we couldn’t be more grateful that they took the time to talk with us this month. From Michelle, we learned that having a therapist to talk to when her mom was going through treatment was extremely helpful. Denise’s story gave us some excellent ways to support someone undergoing treatment. LaToya Bolds-Johnson PA-C, CAQ-EM’s story stressed the importance of counting blessings and being kind to yourself. And Jennifer Johnson’s story highlighted how staying active and continuing to do the things she loved, even if it wasn’t at the level she typically would, helped her stay strong. To read all four inspiring stories, visit https://hubs.la/Q02Wsg-W0. If you or someone you care about is currently navigating breast cancer and has kids, tag them below.

Happy Halloween! We have an amazing team of talented animators that work hard to create customized products everyday. While we get to see them in action all the time, we thought we'd share a sneak peak behind the scenes - we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Chris Rodriguez

Diverse representation in clinical research continues to be a challenge for Pharma sponsors. To overcome this, we have to first understand why the problem exists, and then work together to find solutions that help promote true health equity. In a recent article published by Clinical Research News, Jumo Health CEO, Kevin Aniskovich, outlined how to effectively increase diversity in clinical research by focusing on community-based approaches. This week, as part of our ongoing campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re sharing Michelle Gordon’s story. Michelle’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when Michelle was 11 years old. In this week’s story, she talks about how her parents opened up to her about her mother’s diagnosis and how therapy also helped her get through this challenging time in her life. To read Michelle’s inspiring story, visit https://hubs.la/Q02VRN040. In order to increase participation in clinical trials, we need to first educate people about the clinical trial process, and at Jumo Health we are focused on creating easy-to-understand materials to do just that. Joseph Brady, our AVP of Customer & Creative Strategy, had the opportunity to sit down with our partner Brindley Brooks at HS Connect for the first episode of their Clinical Trials 101 series. They discussed the different phases of clinical trials, Informed Consent, the necessity for diverse representation, and much more. Visit https://hubs.la/Q02VHPbp0 to watch the full episode - we hope you learn something new!

Our team is kicking off OCT New England today and having a great time! Stop by Booth #91 to hear more about our creative approach to making clinical trials accessible for everyone. We had the chance to meet with Malavika Kalarikkal-Puthoor, MPH from Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc., and sat in on a couple of great sessions. We are excited to see what the rest of the day brings! #OCTNE #clinicaltrials #patientadvocacy #healthcare Jules Rinaldi
