What a a meaningful and empowering morning at the JA Rising Women event today! Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania hosted 100 young women from high schools in the The School District of Philadelphia joined by over 100 professional women volunteers from our sponsor companies. Together, they explored careers and potential journeys through workshops that included activities like resume building, personal branding, and informational interviews. The event opened with very inspiring welcoming words by Shanelle Smith from KeyBank, out Title Sponsor and new partner, followed by a very special keynote speaker, JOCELYN WRIGHT from PF Wealth Management Group LLC, who shared her personal journey with the audience. A fabulous discussion panel added energy to the event, moderated by Sharrie Williams, co-anchor of 6abc Action News, with the participation of Adrienne Hill, TERESA MARIE LUNDY, and our Board member Kate McArdle. We thank them all for their contributions today. Students showed their keen interest in the topic with their questions, as the theme was "Limitless Possibilities: Navigating Career Journeys".
