We are still celebrating the success of our second annual CALL TO ACTION! AZ Human Trafficking Summit 2024 was held last week. This summit's mission is to engage the Arizona community to build knowledge about sex trafficking and how it impacts our criminal justice system (courts, law enforcement, probation, diversion), schools, and youth (child welfare, juvenile probation). The end goal is for participants to work together to support prevention and when a victim is identified, to work together to support them. These goals and much more were accomplished this year, and we are excited for what 2025 brings us in the direction of human trafficking prevention and awareness. #htsummit2024 #humantraffickingawareness #humantraffickingprevention https://lnkd.in/gXX8CN_h

It's World Mental Health Day, and this year's theme according to wmhdofficial.com is, 'It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace', which spotlights the crucial role of mental well-being in professional settings. To encourage and enhance mental health wellness in the workplace, we can: Implement mental health training and education programs Encourage work-life balance through flexible schedules Create a supportive culture that breaks the stigma around mental health Provide resources for employees to seek help when needed By joining forces and advocating for mental health in professional environments, we can foster workplaces that prioritize the mental well-being of all employees. Together, we can help to elevate the importance of mental health at work and create spaces that nurture positive mental wellness. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAtWork #justicementalhealth https://lnkd.in/gXX8CN_h

The Second Annual A CALL TO ACTION! AZ Human Trafficking Summit 2024 has come to a close. In 3.5 days, with almost 250 attendees, speakers, and vendors, 21 total general and breakout sessions, and a rich networking night, this year's summit was a great success. We couldn't do it without the support of our sponsors, high-quality speakers and of course our attendees who came to respond to the Call to Action in the prevention of human trafficking in our community. Keep an eye out for the AZ Human Trafficking Summit 2025! #ACALLTOACTIONHTSUMMIT2024 #HTSUMMIT2024 #Humantraffickingprevention #justicementalhealth https://lnkd.in/gXX8CN_h

Today, on Patriot Day, we remember the profound impact of September 11, 2001. As the events of that tragic morning unfolded, the world watched in horror as Americans faced an unprecedented attack. Yet amidst the anger and despair, a powerful sense of pride and unity emerged, inspired by the courageous actions of the passengers and crew of United Flight 93. These 40 brave individuals, in their final moments, made a stand against the terrorists, leaving behind a legacy of heroism and sacrifice. As we reflect on the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honor the first responders who risked everything to save others, let us take this day to reaffirm our commitment to the values that bind us as a nation. Together, let’s strive to build a better, more united world for everyone.
