Tesla is conducting another round of layoffs, including Senior Director of EV Charging Rebecca Tinucci and virtually her entire 500-person team. In an email seen by The Information, Musk wrote that Tesla — which laid off more than 14,000 workers less than two weeks ago — must be "absolutely hard core about headcount and cost reduction." Tinucci, one of two senior executives let go immediately, is credited with convincing competitors to adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard. Daniel Ho, a 10-year company veteran and head of new products, also was laid off. Ho previously worked at Ford for 12 years.
