I had the privilege of lecturing today at Duke University for the Master in FinTech program, where we dove into how AI and analytics are being applied at insurance companies and in the insurtech space. We covered a lot in 90 minutes, from how insurance works at the highest level down to very specific applications of AI, data science, and analysis. Finally, I shared some stories from working at fast-growing startups like Shift Technology and Kalepa, and I was able to meet with students afterwards to chat about more about AI applications in insurance.
