As promised, it is our absolute JOY to reveal: (Drum roll, please….) Regenerate – our mission to integrate Gen Z into the workforce and create knowledge sharing across generations. Here’s the situation: Baby Boomers are increasingly eligible to exit the workforce in mass while a new generation- Gen Z- is quickly entering to fill in the gap. Gen Z has worked less than previous generations, and their professional paths have been disrupted by a global pandemic and a rapidly changing workplace and world. Many of them have never stepped foot in a traditional workplace setting or been exposed to the dynamics that shape it. Leaders face a critical challenge of bridging the generational gap to ensure a steady pipeline of talent – honoring seasoned pros while assimilating new workers and accelerating their development and contribution.  Jessica Stollings-Holder and I have created a solution to help! Our flagship offering is an intensive Gen Z program that equips the next generation in professional communication, workplace expectations and emotional resilience. Through a structured blend of training, group coaching, intergenerational mentoring, real-time impact measuring and hands-on capstone projects, participants will navigate the complexities of the modern workplace and achieve early career success while sharing knowledge across generations, empowering us all to thrive. We also offer keynotes and other training! We’ll break all this down in weeks to come. For now, we invite you to explore our website and if you think it could add value to others, please share, tag and help us spread the message. We are grateful for your support! Now, let’s #regenerate.   -Dr. K + J Brand, website, and photo credit to the amazing Briana Fillers!

When I locked my office door for the last time after ten years of teaching at Cumberland University, I had an idea in my heart but no clue of the blessing that was just around the corner. -- 20 days later I went to lunch with Jessica Stollings-Holder. We had been connected through two trusted colleagues, Janet Walls and Paul Matthew Percy, PhD. I was so excited to meet this national speaker, trainer, author, and coach who was a generational thought leader with a decade of experience! As a bonus, she happened to live less than 30 minutes from me! What were the odds that the two of us had the same passion and happened to live in the same area?!?! I hoped that she would be willing to share some advice with me as I was navigating this new path. Perhaps we would hit it off and collaborate from time to time! -- Wow! Did God have so much more in store for us! During that lunch, we learned that our shared research and passions went even deeper than we imagined. We both strongly value legacy and our mission is rooted in a deep sense of stewardship. We are exactly six months apart in age and Enneagram 3w2 verbal processors. We were naturally on the same page about everything and our conversation was so easy! We left lunch four hours later with a shared vision to meet a major need in the multi-generational workforce. We wanted to create a solution - to do something impactful - and we knew wholeheartedly that it would have the most impact if we did it together. -- So, today - on October 29- exactly 5 months after meeting Jessica, I am grateful and thrilled to introduce her as my business partner! In addition to our individual speaking offerings and brands (which will remain), we have co-founded a purpose-driven business, created a brand, and launched a website that we will reveal on Thursday! We can’t wait to share more about our new venture, but today I want you to know that I have chosen to partner with one of the most amazing, caring people that I have ever met. Jessica is warm, welcoming, gracious, and faith-filled. She lives an intentional life and deeply cares for her family and friends. She is life-giving to everyone she cares for, including her clients who trust her year after year. Those that are closest to me know that collaborating with Jessica has been one of the easiest, most natural experiences of my life. We have done SO MUCH in a short amount of time and it hasn’t been difficult or stressful. It has just been right. So, please say hello to my dear friend and business partner, Jessica Stollings-Holder! I can’t wait for you to get to know her more!
