❕ KatRisk Storm Update❕ Post-event Footprint of Storm Boris Central Europe Flooding & Hurricane Helene monitoring 🌊The KatRisk team has created a post-event footprint for the extreme inland flooding in Central Europe caused by Storm Boris over the past two weeks. 🌧️This footprint utilizes post-event observed precipitation data and is the first and final footprint we will release for this event. The most extreme flooding occurred in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Moldova, with significant flooding in Romania, Poland, and some surrounding areas. ⚠️🌀 As we conclude our analysis of Storm Boris, we are now focused on Hurricane Helene, a powerful storm that roared into northern Florida last night as a Category 4. The hurricane is expected to bring historic winds, storm surges, and flooding to Florida, with impact also projected for the Southeastern region of the US. Stay tuned for updates as we closely monitor the situation. Please be safe!🌀⚠️ ❓If you have questions, please reach out to contact@katrisk.com 📩 #katrisk #riskmanagement #catmodeling #insuretech #hurricanehelene #insurance
