About us

KBIC supplies "on-staff" insurance executives to employers with 25-500 employees. Our clients DO NOT have a robust internal risk management team/process. They look to us to develop and execute their internal insurance risk management strategy. ALL KBIC clients maintain an insurance broker, agent, advisor, consultant, captive agent, and PEO (i.e., producer), which KBIC selects and oversees on behalf of our client's executive team. KBIC holds one of four insurance consulting licenses in Indianapolis. KBIC holds a consultant's license because we never have and never will sell insurance. KBIC only accepts direct and transparent fees from our clients, allowing us to advise them as fiduciaries. - Large organizations have HR professionals on staff called “Directors of benefits”, “Benefits Administrator” or “Directors of Risk Management”. We provide these HR functions and supporting resources for companies that employ between 10 and 500 employees.
