About us

Kelberman is an organization specializing in autism support and services throughout all stages of life. In 2005, Kelberman incorporated as a non-profit organization. Today, it supports over 1,000 children and adults, and employs over 300 full and part-time staff. Kelberman supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Kelberman provides a variety of services centered on the person and their specific abilities and goals throughout life. Support and services include diagnostic evaluations, preschool and early education, behavioral health, counseling, home and community supports, an inclusive summer camp, and employment and residential housing options. Kelberman is also proud to provide educational and recreational opportunities to families and the community.

    Looking for work that will make an impact in your community? The Community Engagement Coordinator works within the Development Department but supports all areas of Kelberman by fostering and nurturing relationships with families. This role will help to guide families through the process of determining what services and supports are best for each person and their family. This position acts as a liaison between the family, care manager, and the Kelberman team. This might include assisting with tours, fast tracking the required document gathering while focusing on what is most important to the person who will be supported. This position shares information and resources with families and helps to foster awareness about Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This position will also be responsible for explaining the variety of options available at Kelberman which include all stages of a person’s life. The Community Engagement Coordinator has excellent organizational, communication, and written skills but also the ability to foster positive relationships with both individuals and organizations. This position is one of the principal ambassadors for the center often speaking internally and publicly delivering Kelberman’s message, vision, and mission.
