The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) recent Personal Financial Data Rights Rule is sparking immediate court challenges as it pushes the U.S. financial services industry toward an open banking system. How do I #lawfully send #texts? A very very FAQ given the volatile #legal landscape on #TCPA, #TelemarketingSalesRule, state #telemarketinglaws, and carrier and texting platform rules. Yep, lots to distill there. We post a bunch of practical blog posts on these developments at adlawaccess.com. But while I see many companies thoughtfully work through these compliance obligations, political campaigns not so much. If you’re like me, it may feel like your phone is taken over by political text spam that you can’t stop. I was therefore glad to see the WashPost post this article with some constructive tips if you want to reclaim your phone. It’s a quick read with some helpful tips that at least are likely to reduce the volume. https://lnkd.in/e2rd75vh
We’re all getting too many political texts. It’s not too late to fight back.
