On October 7, 2024, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved an amendment to Nasdaq’s minimum bid price rules, effective immediately. The updated rule prevents companies from curing a minimum price deficiency at the expense of another listing requirement. Now, both deficiencies must be resolved before the company can regain good standing and avoid delisting.
