We're incredibly proud of our employees from Kemper offices across the country for stepping up to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. Here are some highlights of their amazing efforts: Lake Mary, Florida: Employees came together to make blankets for Project Linus, an organization that provides security, warmth, and comfort to seriously ill and traumatized kids. McAllen, Texas: Our McAllen team supported the SB250, a 250-mile charity bike ride hosted by Suzannah Smiles, an organization that raises funds and awareness for spina bifida. Chatsworth, California: Kemper employees wrote over 200 cards for the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge residents. Hope Lodges offer free lodging to cancer patients and their caregivers.

Kemper was proud to sponsor the #UnidosUS24 Annual Conference last week. As the largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States, UnidosUS (@WeAreUnidosUS) has been a key partner in advancing education, health, and community development where Kemper employees, customers, and agents live and work. Employees from across the company attended to learn more about issues affecting the Latino community like housing, health care, racial equity and education. A valuable event to help us gain a greater understanding of a key market for Kemper, and better serve our Latino customers.

The Kemper Foundation, together with Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR), announced the publication of the 2024 Community Impact Report, detailing $3.1 million in total community impact. The report highlights support for key initiatives and community partners in Kemper’s three primary areas of support – education, health and community development. Also included are details of the Kemper Cares volunteer and ambassador programs, which empower employees to invest their time in the communities where our employees and customers live and work, and Kemper’s Matching Gift program. “I’m proud of the dedication our team has shown to strengthen education, address health disparities, and advocate for civil rights and equal access to resources in our communities,” said Joseph P.
