Our team had a great time at Camp Tiger Paw last week! Camp Tiger Paw is a camp in Mandeville where adults with disabilities pair up with non-disabled peers for a week of fun activities and guests. This year, we helped the campers create their own “Commercial Gingerbread Buildings” to go along with the theme “Christmas in July.” Congratulations to Whitney Kent, Project Manager Brennan Kent’s wife, on another successful week leading this camp. Effortlessly lifting the 115,000 lb fully finished building and dropping it into place between the existing structures. After welding it down, painting touch-ups, and making final electrical and plumbing connections, the building will be seamlessly integrated into the existing MRI facility. Over 10 years ago, Kent Design Build installed a modular MRI building at a healthcare facility in Covington. When the same client approached us with the need for an additional MRI as soon as possible, we chose modular as the solution. Just a few months after breaking ground, the site was ready to accept the new building.
