Recently, the ReVital team members from Kessler and NovaCare participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night event in Mercer County. Together, we were proud to raise lanterns to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures.

Recently, our Union 1 center had a special celebration for Veteran’s Day, honoring our acting center manager Alex Barrientos, P.T., DPT, who served for six years of active duty as a Navy Corpsman. Alex spent three years on a ship and three years in the operating room in the Hospital Corps. Thank you for your service, Alex!

Recently, the ReVital team from KRC Edison were honored to support the American Cancer Society! Therapists Anna Marie Slivka, Allison Gerbino, Kayla Skolnik, Tova Griffel, Alina Hedaya and Brian Foster participated in the Strides Against Breast Cancer, Central NJ. It was great to engage with the community and raise awareness about cancer rehabilitation services which help people live well beyond cancer and are offered at 67 Kessler locations throughout NJ.

Kiely Konyak, PT, DPT, started her position as a physical therapist at our KIR Outpatient Hub in the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Hospital in West Orange on October 7, 2024. After Kiely’s successful interview, she took the initiative to refer her classmate, Ariel Cifuentes, PT, DPT, who also interviewed. Ariel was subsequently hired for a physical therapist role at our Kessler Rehabilitation Center Bedminster location. Both Kiely and Ariel are recent graduates of Thomas Jefferson University, having completed their studies in May 2024. For her referral, Kiely received a $10K bonus. Utilize your passion.
