With ketamine brings hope. For many patients living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, or fibromyalgia, the results can be life-changing. We work with patients struggling with mood disorders who want to live their best lives but feel frustrated by the limits of their current treatment plans. Most of our patients have failed to see results from traditional therapies. Our state-of-the-art clinic is uniquely situated on the Mission Hospital Laguna Beach campus. This proximity affords us access to all of the hospital services and ancillary behavioral health support while providing each patient with a safe, comfortable, and private outpatient infusion.

What is high-functioning depression? When we think of depression, it’s common to imagine a condition that visibly affects a person’s life, keeping them in bed or away from social activities. However, there’s a type of depression that’s less noticeable but equally impactful—high-functioning depression. High-functioning depression, clinically known as dysthymia or persistent depressive disorder, is a form of depression that doesn’t necessarily stop you from working or living your life but can still cast a long shadow over your life. People with high-functioning depression often maintain a stable job, relationships, and social life.
