At Kettering, Co-op isn't just an option, it's one half of a students educational experience. Other schools may offer Co-op as a secondary educational opportunity. At Kettering, we know the true value of a Co-op. That's why we built it into our students education. Students will rotate between the classroom and real-life work experiences the entire time they are at Kettering. That's right, starting their first year, they will begin gaining job-related experience because we know that academics and Co-op experience are two equal parts that ensure their success after graduation.

The Summer Employment Fair proved to be a highly productive event, marked by a reunion with one of my favorite alums, Matthew Schneider, and the introduction of incoming student Chris Ordoobadi, a professional hockey player and Kelly Cup winner with the Florida Everblades, now Engineering student Kettering University Cooperative Education! Additionally, Auto-Owners Insurance made a generous donation to benefit our Computer Science Department. I am greatful for our partnership with Erin McLaughlin and her dedication and continued support of our students and program.
