We kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Crucial Catch Night at the Fraze! Our teams performed on-site mammograms, scheduled future mammograms, and provided education on cancer prevention. Those in attendance had the opportunity to honor cancer patients and survivors and meet Cincinnati Bengals center Ted Karras! Thank you to everyone who participated to inform and serve our community!

Dana is an ultrasound technician and was nominated by a patient who shared: “I called radiology on a Saturday hoping to get an ultrasound of my neck that my doctor had ordered. I was a complete mess in fear my cancer had come back. Dana scheduled me for the same day and did my ultrasound. Once here she made me feel comfortable and took great care of me. She made me smile for the first time since my doctor had ordered the ultrasound the day before. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Dana’s willingness to get me in on the same day I called on a Saturday, nonetheless. We are proud to have once again partnered with the Cincinnati Bengals, American Heart Association, and Cintas for "Save the Dey, presented by Cintas" at Paycor Stadium! Nearly three out of four cardiac arrests that occur outside of the hospital happen at home, making CPR a lifesaving skill that everyone should know. For this reason, participants learned and practiced hands-only CPR and were trained in how to use an AED. We had our CPR trainers onsite as well as our Community Outreach team to perform blood pressure checks and risk assessments. Seventeen patients received relief from hand and wrist ailments at this year’s Hand Day, an annual event that offers free hand surgeries to those without medical insurance.
