Looking for ways to get involved at Key Campus? 🥰 We have an ongoing need for volunteer support in our mail room! 📬 📨 Mondays through Saturdays and flexible shifts are available! We can work with your schedule! Volunteer duties include sorting and filing mail, delivering mail to Campus partners, and assisting our Clients at the service window. With our post office services we provide a physical mailing address for our Clients to receive correspondence and qualify for opportunities they otherwise would not have access to. Connect our unhoused neighbors to their loved ones, to their benefits, to their packages and parcels! 🥰 Last year, an astounding 84,000 parcels were distributed to over 6,000 housing insecure neighbors. 👏👏👏 This volunteer position is ideal for individuals who can commit to 1-2 shifts weekly during business hours. Today is Arizona's voter registration deadline. In August, the League of Women Voters visited the Campus to register clients to vote, update their registration, and educate on voting rights restoration. We encourage our clients to get involved in the voting process, which includes dispelling common myths and breaking down harmful misinformation. "Each summer we say, 'this must be as bad as it can get.' And every year, the heat is more extreme, and more persistent," says Keys to Change CEO, Amy Schwabenlender. "There's a real sense of urgency on the front lines because the effects can be very unhealthy. We can't let our guard down. The heat is still deadly, and affordable housing is still scarce. While community support has been incredible all summer, this may be our most critical ask."
