About us
Pediatric outpatient Speech-Language, Physical & Occupational Therapies We strive to provide the best individualized therapy programs to give kids the confidence and tools they need to grow and succeed through speech-language, physical and occupational challenges. We specialize in kids ages birth to 18 and have experience with a variety of diagnoses, including Neonatal ICU cases and working with Spanish-speaking families. Our office staff is entirely bilingual, including Marshallese translation services! Our philosophy is treating the whole child and working with parents and caregivers to provide tools they can use to help their kids reach their goals and achieve successful, fulfilling lives. Kids SPOT provides outpatient clinical, in-home and in-preschool therapy services. We accept: Arkansas Medicaid, AR Kids 1st A & B, TEFRA, some insurers including Blue Cross, United Healthcare, TriCare Humana Military, and cash or check. Specialties include: Therapeutic Listening Program (specialized music designed to assist with sensory integration), Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing, Beckman Oral-Motor Program (addresses low muscle tone in mouth), Neo-Natal ICU (NICU) follow-up diagnostics and intervention, Feeding and Sensory aversions, Tongue Thrust correction, Handwriting Without Tears program, Spanish language diagnostics and intervention.. -Hablamos Español- Call us at: 479-259-2339

No ruff weekends here! We spent a little time Saturday having a "Dog Park Paw-ty" with some of our staff and their furry friends! It was a great way to relax, get some exercise, and visit a new dog park! We were too busy playing tug-o-war with some really great sticks to take a group picture-- luckily we had a few friends stop and pose!

We're at UAMS today for a Physical Therapy Career Fair! We love getting to meet students and spend time with our colleagues at other therapy and rehabilitation centers! Are you a recent or upcoming graduate looking for the perfect SPOT to start your career? We're right here! GG, our Clinical Education Coordinator, acts as a mentor and support during a PT or PTAs first year at Kids SPOT. We utilize a slow onboarding process and caseload buildup, weekly meetings with your mentor, and evaluation and documentation reviews to assist new clinicians with building their skills and confidence. Our ST, PT, and OT departments each have a Clinical Education Coordinator. Inspired by our ST Clinical Fellowship Manager, Stephanie, and the work she did to make sure our CFs felt supported during their fellowship, we created similar positions for our PT and OT departments.

Did you know August is National Breastfeeding Month? This past weekend we attended the Breastfeeding Month kick off event at Willow Creek Women's Health. Miss Karla is currently completing her Lactation Counselor certification and hopes to bridge any gaps in service as Kids SPOT's Feeding Team Lead. We love that she found a new area of interest, and that Kids SPOT was able to support her as she completed her curriculum and training!

Where in the world is Miss Kassandra? Belize! Miss Kassandra is on a week long CEU course in Belize. We love that she is gaining valuable information and skills while also getting to have fun and explore! Did you know ❓ Kids SPOT has a yearly CEU stipend for staff, as well as paid CEU days? No need to worry about taking PTO hours to attend CEU trainings here!
