We are excited for Ki Ho Kang and Adam Grimm to join Governor Cox and industry leaders from the state of Utah on their trade mission to South Korea and Japan. KIHOMAC will be one of the businesses representing the aerospace industry of Utah. It's a great opportunity for us to showcase the wide range of products we make in Utah and find new markets for our capabilities! https://lnkd.in/eVKq2SFn

GOEO, in partnership with World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), recently hosted Korean Consul General Lim Jung-taek and his team for meetings with industry experts, government officials, and university representatives. Korea is Utah's 9th largest export destination and home to the University of Utah's Asia Campus. In September, Gov. Cox will visit Korea to explore more trade opportunities for Utah companies.

I am proud to introduce our 130,000-square-feet state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in #WarnerRobins, #PeachCounty, Georgia. We have purchased the land, the design is complete, and the financing is coming together. We hope to break ground in October. Our Warner Robins facility will complement our 142,000-square-feet Center for Advanced Manufacturing facility in #Layton, #DavisCounty, Utah. We are also planning an expansion facility in Layton. We will have 300,000 square feet in total advanced manufacturing capacity in aerospace quality composites and metal assembly across the company. Planning and executing a major CAPEX investment in today's financial environment is challenging. The company we have built was and is being funded via Bootstrap, making every investment like this hard. But our customers need additional capacity and higher throughputs of our product lines -- and this investment is the necessary price to make that happen. Our financial partner #UMBBank has been a solid partner for us and is financing this project. We included a helipad with our Warner Robins facility to chase after helicopter modification work - if you build it, they will come! 🙂

Our external travel demo pod is nearing completion. The design is based on the proven structure from now fielding MXU-1072/A (72 units delivered—at a rate of 10 to 12 units per month for Lot 1), with ergonomic nose/tail cones and sealed hinged panels with latches for quick access. It will be the same length as the legacy MXU-648 pods but with twice the cargo capacity. This new carbon fiber pod with a twofold increase in the volumetric capacity, coupled with wide door access, will become an enabler of the agile combat employment (ACE) concept by our CAF. Our MXU-1072/A was certified for carriage in F-35s, our external pod will be deployable to all fighter aircraft types as we get through the certification process for F-16s and F-15s. You can see it at the F-16 & Proven Aircraft Worldwide Review, Booth 94, in Ogden, UT, next week. #ProblemSolved #KIHOMAC
