🌟 Proud to represent KINECTed Communities at the U.S. Venture Open; our nonprofit sponsored by Terry Fulwiler! Our golf team—Teal VanLanen and Nick Cochart (Directors of KINECTed Communities and Co-Founders of Kinect M1), John LeCloux (Board Member of KINECTed Communities), and Andrew Martin (Director of Network and Strategic Partnerships at Well-being and Equity (WE) in the World) - came together for a great cause: to #endpoverty in Northeast Wisconsin. Yesterday’s event was a huge success, raising $4,825,895, adding to the impressive total of over $70 million raised in the last 39 years! 🎉 Team Kinect has witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of these funds—not only saving lives but also creating BETTER pathways that improve the systems necessary for all to have an opportunity to #Thrive. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Let's continue this important work together. 💪 #KINECTedCommunities #KinectM1 #USVentureOpen #EndPoverty #ThriveTogether

✨ We at Kinect M1 were deeply honored to host MCC Label President & CEO Hassan H. Rmaile, along with key MCC leaders, at the NE WI Kinect Collaborative Hub! 🤝 Joined by students, parents, and staff from Destinations Career Academy of WI (DCAConnect), the visit sparked powerful discussions on future partnerships, aligning curriculum with industry needs, and exploring new ways to collaborate. 🚀 The possibilities with MCC are truly endless, and this visit marks just the beginning of a stronger, more impactful collaboration that will serve as a model for others to learn from. Together, we’re #kinecting and building a future where education, innovation, and industry align to create opportunities for ALL 🌟 #Collaboration #Innovation #FutureLeaders #MCC #DCAConnect #KinectM1

DAY 2 at the National Civic League 🇺🇸 2024 All-America City Awards: Finalist communities across the nation present to a panel of judges to showcase their impactful initiatives under the theme "Strengthening Democracy through Local Action and Innovation." Here are a few #brightspot💡communities and a quote that will stay with Kinect M1 in the work ahead: 📍HIGH POINT, NORTH CAROLINA “We were at a crossroads. Do we accept things as they are and diminish? Or do we Grow, Thrive, and Create? We started to listen to the voices of our community- what their dreams are, their hopes, their needs. We listened and took action.” 📍NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA “If the children are well, the community is well.” 📍MONROVIA, CALIFORNIA “As elementary students, we found we can make a change when we invited our mayor into the classroom to tell him what our concerns are. He listens and he takes action. We know the importance of voting and we know that our voice matters.” 📍HENDERSON, KENTUCKY "We (city government) will fund, or find a way, to do exactly what it is you (inner-city residents) say that needs to be done.”
