According to a recent CPSC report, pool and spa drownings tragically claim about 358 children under the age of 15 each year. As insurance professionals, we can help play a key role in spreading awareness to reduce and stop these preventable incidents. Consider sharing these key pool safety tips so everyone can continue to have a great summer: 1. Supervise Constantly: Ensure children are never left unattended near water. Designate a responsible "water watcher." 2. Install Barriers: Recommend fences, alarms, and covers to clients to prevent accidental access to pool areas. 3. Teach Swimming Skills: Encourage clients to enroll children in swimming lessons to build their confidence and skills in the water. 4.
