Too often companies only celebrate new hires and not the departures of key team members. We wanted to change that and celebrate the contributions of Daniel Santos, whose last day with us is today. Dan started at Kitchen United four years ago as a General Manager for our Scottsdale facility, the third location we opened. He leaves us two promotions later as our VP of Operations. He has exemplified the passion and grit of start-up life by leaning into, and ultimately leading, so many different areas of our operations such as New Center Openings, Training, Operational Excellence, New Member Onboarding, Kitchen Design, Licensed Brands, and more. But aside from his business contributions, he will be remembered most as a compassionate leader who modeled inclusion, support, and understanding. As Dan shared in our internal Slack, he asked himself if he is leaving the company better than he found it. We can wholeheartedly answer that for him - Yes, Chef. Thank you Dan and best of luck to you on your new adventures. We hope our paths cross again soon.
