Emely recently graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a triple major in Business Management, Real Estate and International Studies. During her academic journey, she demonstrated exceptional determination and a strong work ethic, making her a perfect fit for our team. In her role as a Development Analyst, Emely will be engaging in multifamily projects, utilizing her skills in development proposals and her experience with LIHTC cases. Her journey through the IU Real Estate Program, where she regularly worked on real-world real estate problems and presented solutions to real clients, has prepared her well for this role. Beyond her academic achievements, Emely has shown a remarkable ability to empathize and mentor others. She worked as a Peer Mentor Coach for the Kelley School of Business, providing personal and professional support for Latin women in their first year of college. Her commitment to creating pathways for others to find success and her genuine care for people make her a valuable addition to our team. She also participated in an initiative with the Urban Land Institute, where she created a development proposal from the ground up, winning second place and impressing city officials and community members. Emely's commitment and drive make her an ideal candidate for a position oriented towards self-starters and those driven to achieve their personal and professional goals. Natalie Contos and Sarah Hart attended the IU Real Estate Career Fair on September 13th, where they had the pleasure of engaging with over 100 talented and diverse real estate students from both the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses. This event highlighted the importance of our relationship with the IU Real Estate Club, which plays a crucial role in our recruitment efforts for interns and entry-level candidates at Kittle Property Group. The IU Real Estate Club, founded in 1990, is instrumental in equipping students with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in the real estate industry. Through weekly speaker meetings, case competitions, site tours, and career guidance, the club prepares its members comprehensively for professional success. The alignment between what students learn in these workshops and classes and our career opportunities at Kittle Property Group is striking. Our strong relationships with instructors and the Career Services Department at IU have been invaluable. These connections have allowed us to receive referrals on job candidates and gain insights into their course history and academic performance. This feedback ensures that we are considering well-prepared and knowledgeable individuals who are ready to make an impact.
