New proposals for the future of CFP football by College Sports Tomorrow and Smash Capital echo elements of our 2020 recommendation to create a single structure to govern the sport of FBS football, separate from the NCAA. Our proposal places authority for revenue and rules administration and management of the championship under a single leadership structure. This new structure needs to include meaningful football athlete representation and independent directors to provide unbiased and expert input.
