    Today we celebrate the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha. St. Kateri was born around 1656 in a Mohawk village in present-day upstate New York. She converted to Catholicism at 19, took the name Kateri and consecrated herself solely to Jesus. She died in 1680 in present-day Québec. St. Kateri Tekakwitha, pray for us!

    Michael McCusker, who has served as supreme master since 2023, reflects in a recent interview on military service, patriotism and the mission of the Fourth Degree, which was established nearly 125 years ago. “The Knights formed the Patriotic Degree at the turn of the century to show that we are Catholic, but also good citizens,” Supreme Master McCusker explained. “Now, more than ever, it is important to demonstrate that we love our faith, but we also love our country.” Read more: https://ow.ly/vruF50SuT65
