As part of the launch of KnitWell Group's Sisterhood of Strength Campaign in support of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, I had the opportunity to sit down with BCRF's President and CEO, Donna McKay. We had a wonderful conversation about the incredible work they are doing, the importance of research in the fight against breast cancer, and how people can get involved. We hope you will join our Sisterhood of Strength.

KnitWell Group is honored to be recognized on Forbes' 2024 list of America's Best Employers for Women! As a predominantly female-founded and female-led organization, this recognition reflects our genuine commitment to empowering and uplifting our associates. #AmericasBestEmployers #KnitWellGroup
Introducing #AmericasBestEmployers for Women 2024 A recent analysis by the Pew Research Center found that women now make up 35% of U.S. workers in the 10 highest-paying occupations—such as physicians, lawyers, pharmacists, physicists, chief executives and sales engineers—up from 13% in 1980. Regardless, there is still need for progress in growing the ranks of women in leadership roles, closing the gender wage gap, and creating a more equitable workplace for women. And many companies have taken up the charge. To recognize the organizations that are doing so—and to help female workers find these companies—Forbes has ranked America’s Best Employers For Women 2024. FULL LIST: https://trib.al/J3nkJQc

Congratulations to KnitWell Group’s Jaap van Riel who was recognized on Friday with a Boston ORBIE as the CIO of the Year for a Large Enterprise over $1 billion. The ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. The awards recognize chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership. Finalists and winners are selected by an independent peer review process, led by prior ORBIE recipients, based upon: · Leadership and management effectiveness · Business value created by technology innovation · Engagement in industry and community endeavors When asked about the award, Japp answered as you would expect, “This is not my award. This award recognizes all the great work the KnitWell tech team has done for the last few years. I’m very proud of our team.” As they say in Jaap's native Dutch - Gefeliciteerd!
