Today we salute you, Andrew Schroeckenthaler. Known as “Schreck,” he joined KE in December 2019 and has been an integral part of our team ever since. Schreck’s journey with us has been one of continuous growth and knowledge in his field. “From my early days, my father taught me the value of hard work and taking pride in everything I do,” said Schreck. This mindset has driven him to excel in his responsibilities and pass on his knowledge of the trades by mentoring apprentices. His passion teaching was evident when he led a conduit bending class at the KE summit in 2023, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing both his skills and those of his colleagues. Schreck primarily works out of the Twin Cities area, supporting key clients. “Schreck is well-respected by customers and colleagues alike for his attention to detail, dedication to the trades, and infectious sense of humor. He truly makes work more enjoyable for everyone around him, always sporting a smile,” said Cam.

Today we salute you, Nicholas Thomforde. Nick has been a powerhouse in the energy division since he joined KE three years ago. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you—he’s one of the hardest working individuals on the team and won't hesitate to light a fire under you if you're slacking. Starting out as a laborer, Nicholas quickly moved into a Site Coordinator role before transitioning into his current position as foreman, all thanks to his relentless tenacity. Nick states, “I've been very fortunate to work with amazing employees every day, because without them I wouldn't be where I am today.” It’s been a wild ride watching his journey from where he started to where he is now. We can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next. Nicholas is the epitome of our core values, and we're proud to have him leading our crews.
