Hasn’t been a day since Cannes without an article about Retail Media Networks, but this one by Lindsay Rittenhouse in Ad Age is exceptional. Stories like this make our industry better because they shed light on the perverse incentives and shady practices to which some agencies resort. The victims here? Their own clients, many of whom don’t yet realize they’re being played. They will soon, thanks to this kind of reporting. Good work, Ad Age.
