After 47 years, Buz Koelbel is transitioning to a new role of Executive Chairman for Koelbel and Company where he will serve in a critical advisory role alongside his three sons. Carl Koelbel will be taking on the role of President and CEO, having worked closely with Buz on day-to-day operations for the past 12 years. Continuing the strong family legacy Buz’s other two sons, Walt and Dean, will remain in top leadership positions. From the incredibly successful 'Pinehurst Country Club' to the award-winning custom community, 'The Preserve in Greenwood Village' to the creation of the flourishing 'Rendezvous' resort community in Winter Park, as well as multiple innovative commercial projects such as Catalyst in RiNo, the impact Buz has had on Koelbel, the quality of life Koelbel offers residents, and the more than 60 people who work at Koelbel is immeasurable.
