A gifted Scotsman, David Dalgarno, D. Phil., joined Kojin Therapeutics early this year as Senior Vice President, Digital & Data Science and Technology. After graduating with two degrees from Oxford and completing a fellowship at Yale, David started an illustrious career in the biotech industry. At ARIAD, he set up one of the first two biotech-based high-field #NMR laboratories in the Cambridge area and promoted the early applications of NMR to structure-based drug design for over 20 years. Evolving as a technology and biophysics guru, he is always looking for new ways to apply novel approaches in AI/ML, computational sciences, and state-of-the-art instrumentation to accelerate drug discovery. Never one to rest on his laurels, he has re-engaged with his secondary school, Robert Gordon's College, to promote their #STEM initiatives. #ferroptosis #redox #lipidomics #drugdiscovery #biophysics #AI #machinelearning #datascience #structuralbiology

We welcome Hagop Youssoufian, M.D. as our Chief Medical Advisor and a member of our evolving leadership team. Hagop is a distinguished physician-scientist and drug-development professional with over 35-years of experience in academia and industry – including biotech and big pharma companies. He has overseen more than 100 INDs and 500 clinical trials involving new medicines for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. He is setting in motion plans for biomarker-enriched clinical trials of our first #ferroptosis medicines.
